Audiobook: The Game of Life and How to Play it by Florence Scovel Shinn

5 February 2017

Read by award-winning narrator Mike Vendetti. The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Schovel Shinn reminds us that we are the player in our game of life and we control our outcomes through our thoughts.

Positive thoughts produce positive results and negative thoughts produce negative results.

Good or bad we become what we think. This audiobook is a perfect companion to other motivational texts such as Think and Grow Rich and The Richest Man in Babaylon.

Whilst this book turned out to not be for me, I cannot deny the benefits that others may experience from listening to this book.  If you are in need of a motivation and are open to a spiritual approach, this book certainly offers something that many others do not.

Narration by award-winning narrator Mike Vendetti was well produced and well delivered.  I listened to this book whilst commuting to/from work each day and was able to remain alive to the book despite everything else going on around me - although perhaps this isn't the way to listen to this book nor the manner intended...

One thing that did surprise me... the length of the book.  In an hour and a half it was over - a great way to get the message across!  Short, succinct and to the point.  Despite being short, one thing the book was not lacking in was content, the book covered a whole raft of topics that give people the 'seed' to think positive thoughts to produce positive effects.  If only everybody could be this positive, the world would be a perfect place!
